Junior High Youth group is a Christ centered 7th and 8th grade ministry group that focuses on reading, learning, and applying God's word to our daily lives. We meet on Sunday mornings from 9:15-10:15am and select Sunday nights as well from 4-5:45pm.
Sunday Morning Youth Bible Study Has Restarted!
Grades 6th-12th are invited to join us on Sundays mornings during the Bible study hour in the fellowship hall. We are slowly working back up to meeting like normal again and this is the first step!

Youth Nights - Youth Nights at Good Shepherd are our primary meeting nights to study God's Word, eat food, and do activities together that help grow a sense of community and fun. Food and beverages are always provided at no cost to those attending. Come out and join us!

--UPDATE-- Sadly we will have to postpone(NOT CANCEL!!) this event to a later date as one of the band members has a family member that just tested positive for Covid. We will keep everyone up to date with any new information we have.
Please keep an eye out for updates and info coming out about the situation in regards to GSLC Youth. In the mean time use your new found free time to read God's word and pray for those around you and all around the world dealing consequences of this virus both seen and unforeseen.
In the face of fear, of chaos, anxiety, and uncertainty, you remain a child of God—loved, fought for, protected, covered by God’s mercies.
As the events of the world seem to threaten our security and inner peace, you remain his. Loved. Fought for. Protected. Covered.
God's love is not conditional, not subject to change. His promises are not empty, and his words are not void. He does not give himself in pieces, but wholly, completely, fully, in the midst of our greatest hardships and worry, he remains ever close and ever-present.
He is your Protector. He is fighting for you. He has conquered death for you. He has broken bows and ended wars for you, and you remain his. And yet he still promises himself to us. Near. Close. Present. In his sovereignty and in his grace, he says to us, It is mine to fight, to conquer, to defeat darkness and to reign victorious. It is yours to see and to know that this is all for you. I have pledged myself to you. I am with you. I will be exalted.
We may not have reason, explanation, or certainty of why, but what we do know is God is still good, no matter our circumstances. He remains near with no oversight of our struggles or anxiety. He remains close to the brokenhearted, and you remain his child. Loved. Fought for. Protected.
We're all in this together
God is our refuge and strength,
a very present[b] help in trouble.
2 Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way,
though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea,
3 though its waters roar and foam,
though the mountains tremble at its swelling.
4 There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God,

4 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5 Let your gentleness be evident to all. And the God of peace will be with you.
