Sunday Morning Youth Bible Studies

The mission for this school year is the Lutheran Heritage Foundation's "Continuing What Luther Began: Catechisms & Bibles for Children Around the World" project.  Five hundred years ago, Martin Luther knew his people needed two important things:  the Bible translated into their own language, and a Small Catechism to help them understand it.  Today, kids and families all around the world need these same things. For every $5.00, a child receives his or her own Bible storybook or catechism.

Sunday, August 27th, will be our last Family Bible Study for the summer (starting at 9:15 a.m. in the school cafeteria).  We will have our CBS Rally Picnic that day, as well.  The picnic is at Pleasant Ridge Park in Maryville and is potluck.  We plan to eat at 12:30 p.m.  The following Sunday we will resume our normal CBS classes and the children will advance to the next grade.
