When Childbirth is Near
Dear Lord, as the time for this birth draws near, I thank You for this child's conception and for his/her growth until now. Thank You for giving me the strength to carry this child for so long. Now, I pray Lord for Your help to bring this child into this world. You are my strength in whom I will trust (Psalm 18). I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me (Philippians 4.13). Bless those who will be helping me. Give them wisdom and understanding. Protect this child's life and mine and grant a safe delivery by Your grace. In Jesus' name. Amen.
