Tuesday Youth Bible Classes

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not forbid them, for of such is the kingdom of God” (Mark 10.14). 

We do this by teaching our children about Jesus, praying with them, and bringing them to worship, Sunday School, and our midweek classes. 

During the school year we offer midweek Bible and Catechism classes for children in third through eighth grades. These classes meet on Tuesday nights from 6:30- 8:00 p.m. When the students finish the eighth-grade class, they will be ready to celebrate confirmation and to begin receiving Holy Communion.

As the world around us becomes increasingly resistant to the Holy Spirit and to the Christian faith, it is vitally important that our children, who have been baptized into Christ, know Him, believe in Him and follow Him. 

Third-Fourth Grades: Carol Walther These classes focus on the Bible stories and Learning by Heart.

Fifth-Sixth Grades: Tom Westphal These classes focus on the Bible stories and Learning by Heart.

Seventh-Eighth Grades: Pastors Walther and Adle These classes cover all the basic teachings of the Christian faith using Martin Luther's Small Catechism.

The classes meet in the lower level of the church.
